EXA performs steel welding and light fabrication in the shop for automotive work, trucks through Ford F-550 size, exhaust components, and car-haul trailer applications. Work may include safely repairable pipes, hangers, brackets, mounts, crossmembers, ramps, gates, fenders, jacks, couplers, hitches, receivers, and reinforcement pieces. No aluminum or mobile welding is offered. Frame, hitch, suspension-mount, and other load-bearing damage must be inspected before EXA decides whether a safe repair is appropriate.

What this service involves.
Structural availability begins with inspection
A visible crack does not show the full condition of the surrounding metal or the forces the component carries. Frame sections, crossmembers, suspension mounting points, hitches, receivers, ramps, gates, and other load-bearing pieces may be repairable, may need replacement, or may be unsuitable for welding. EXA evaluates corrosion, distortion, access, material condition, and intended use before accepting the work; the service listing is not a blanket promise that every damaged structure can be repaired.
Steel, car-haul trailers, and shop work only
The published welding scope is steel work performed at EXA. It does not include aluminum fabrication, mobile welding, or general repair of every trailer type. For trailers, the stated focus is car-haul equipment such as safely repairable crossmembers, ramps, gates, fenders, jacks, couplers, brackets, mounts, hitches, and receivers.
Exhaust repair has component-specific limits
Steel exhaust work can include repair or fabrication of suitable pipes, joints, hangers, and supports, along with replacement of a muffler or another component when repair is not appropriate. The system is inspected for corrosion and damage beyond the visible break first. Emissions equipment is retained and repaired lawfully rather than removed or bypassed.

What to know before the visit.
Does EXA weld aluminum?
No. The published welding and fabrication service is for steel. Send photos and component details before visiting if the material is uncertain, but aluminum work should not be booked as an EXA welding job.
Can the shop come to my vehicle or trailer to weld it?
No mobile welding is advertised. Welding and fabrication are performed in the shop, where the damage, surrounding material, alignment, and repair access can be inspected before work is accepted.
Will you repair any cracked trailer frame or hitch?
Not automatically. EXA must inspect the damage, corrosion, distortion, material condition, and load-bearing function first. The shop accepts structural work only when the component is judged safely repairable; replacement or declining the job may be the responsible result.

The confirmed trailer focus is car-haul trailers. Potential work includes safely repairable steel crossmembers, ramps, gates, fenders, jacks, couplers, brackets, mounts, hitches, and receivers after an in-shop repairability inspection.
